The grand aqueduct is underway. Our biggest project yet, a combination of welded metal, five pieces of blown glass, intricate stonework, lighting, over a hundred feet of flowing water...and all with our signature FlowMotion organic themes and shapes.

Today the FlowNotion proposal for our largest project ever, with over four times the budget of our next largest commission, was accepted by our gracious, unnamed patrons. They may not be able to remain anonymous much longer, after the crowds start gathering to experience the unprecedented environmental art piece which will soon appear in their back yard. This will be our first FlowNotion featuring Tom's blown glass as well as Garth's ornamental welding. Big thanks to our patrons!

FlowMotion Art is the creative vision of Garth Murray and Tom Mattausch, in the form of art installations. Our passion and goal is to create new kinds of beautiful environments, by combining our palette of skills including stonework, ceramics, metalwork, water elements, and more.
FlowMotion Art is environment and landscape as art, realized through the vision of two young, versatile Seattle artists. River rocks artfully placed in mortar serve as a permanent, classical base for our installations. Our goal is large, custom, centerpiece creations. We hope that our work speaks for our potential and love of this art form.
FlowMotion Art LLC is an ambitious young artistic business venture. Focusing the knowledge, vision, and energy of two young, versatile Seattle artists, we aim to push the boundaries of what an environment can be.
